Our smallest blade holder 44406 for 1.5mm HSS blades. When used in optional toolpost 44407 this blade holder performs well in shallow or deep grooving and parting off with the Proxxon FD 150/E miniature lathe.

If setting it on other brand lathes, remember the square shank is 6mm x 6mm but the blade edge height is 7.3mm.

Zero top rake means you do not need to adjust or shim the tool height when you sharpen the blade or extend the blade length. Vee-groove for blade seating maintains perpendicular alignment when adjusting blade overhang.

Accepts our 44405 HSS parting/grooving blades, width 1.5mm. Blade is not included. Seen here with 44408 mid-size 8mm square holder and 44410 larger 10mm square holder.
