Our larger blade holder 44410 for 1.5mm HSS blades. Performs well in shallow or deep grooving and parting off with our Proxxon PD 400 full-size precision lathe. Uses the PD 400's standard quick-change toolholder for proper edge height adjustment.

If setting it on other brand lathes, remember the square shank is 10mm x 10mm but the blade edge height is 10.7mm.

Zero top rake means you do not need to adjust or shim the tool height when you sharpen the blade or extend the blade length. Vee-groove for blade seating maintains perpendicular alignment when adjusting blade overhang.

Accepts our 44405 HSS parting/grooving blades, width 1.5mm. Blade is not included. Seen here with 44406 smaller 6mm square holder and 44408 mid-size 8mm square holder.
