The Brutal™ parting blade holders and available HSS blades are Relativity™ products. These large holders DO NOT SUIT Proxxon lathes. They are designed for large, industrial, metalworking lathes.

Cutting edge height of the 44530 holder is about 30mm, depending on blade overhang, due to a holder-induced 1-degree top rake. Be sure to use a height adjustable toolpost, to perfect the cutting edge height.

The holder aligns the available 44529 HSS blade vertically, with 1.8-degree per side clearance and bottom bevel.
M1 grade bevel-top HSS blades 44529 (3.2 x 22 x 152mm) are sold separately, NOT INCLUDED with the holder.

Clamping height is 35mm over the milled screw clamp zone 108mm x 16mm.
Overall holder length is 177mm and a generous front underhang provides stable blade support under heavy cutting forces.

The bevel clamp screw uses a square nut with 12mm square ring spanner provided.
