Incomparable parting and grooving blades with two-stage 2-sided relief. These are ground for Relativity in USA from M2 high speed steel, to mount in our 44100 parting clamp holders. Parallel web allows the blade to sit truly vertical in the elegant 44100 holder, for proper attitude to the workpiece and clean parted finish. Pre-angled nose has 7° front clearance ready to part. Tapered, tall head section provides extra rigidity on hard materials.

Generous side clearance helps prevent non-ferrous alloys pasting and gumming, while the chip-breaker top radius groove leaves sharp sides for clean grooving.

We use them successfully on thermoplastics, aluminium, brass and some steels. These narrow blades can be user-ground into knife tools for zero-width knife-parting of thin washers of many plastics and rubbers. Substantial 1.6mm web helps maintain rigidity when the blade is extended far beyond the holder.

Our Proxxon TSG 250/E, fitted with wet-rated silicon carbide discs and water kit, is ideal for blade re-sharpening and for knife tool shaping.
